SHELTERS
Because of the portability and ease of assembly (and disassembly) of Kokoon
Homes
building components, many people use them as shelters in remote locations. Our
panels
are small and light enough that an ATV can pull a small trailer loaded with our
components
into even the roughest, steepest terrain. And, because of their superior
strength and insulation,
can withstand the harshest environments keeping you cozy and comfortable.
Some of our most common applications are Hunting Cabins and Ice Fishing
Houses. Because our
homes can be made fully self - contained, many people spend more and more time
in their retreats.
Solar power and water heaters, compost toilets and wood burning stoves coupled
with satellite TV
and cell phones make "roughing it" a thing of the past.
